Description

The second in a series on STARS data quality, the Deep Dive into Report Review webinar will guide institutions and reviewers through the reporting assurance process. Pre-submission review of STARS reports has been recognized by AASHE as a powerful tool for improving data quality, and peer reviews are increasingly found to be mutually beneficial. In addition to improving report quality, conducting an external review in particular can promote inter-campus collaboration and knowledge sharing, which can lead to other sustainability advancements and benefits. During this webinar, experienced reviewers will share guidelines on what to expect at each stage of the review process. The webinar will cover strategies for identifying a reviewer, setting timelines and expectations, providing reviewer access, getting acquainted with the review template, conducting the review, addressing conflict, and more. A Q&A session will be included, and opportunities for peer networking will be provided. This webinar is ideal for institutions seeking review as well as individuals tasked with reviewing a report.
